DESCRIPTION: Cooperative integration consists of all of the business solutions and agreements that tend to increase and optimise the business dimension of small Social Economy companies, in order to improve their profitability, so they are much more competitive in the current economic settings. The dispersion of these companies sometimes generates localised companies that lack a social, economic and business dimension. To avoid this limitation, the cooperatives must adopt a management model that is fundamentally based upon integration, intercooperation and individual development. The Social Economy has been working along this line for several years, holding sectoral training and awareness-raising meetings with Social Economy companies. The Member Organisations of CEPES Andalucía have participated in developing this plan, therefore obtaining a broader view of the current situation of the most representative sectors. To follow up these undertaken actions and to implement said plan, people and professionals are required who will plan, organise and manage each of the integration projects, with the aim of integrating competition, technological innovation and business cooperation factors into these structures.
