Training and Employment

The training of our region’s human resources, so they may obtain a maximum level of knowledge, competence and flexibility, is a determining factor for the medium and long-term success of a development policy.

CEPES Andalucía considers that a key element for setting up a modern training policy in our region is its ability to promote the “culture of initiative”, as opposed to what we might call the “culture of passivity”. Initiative and entrepreneurial spirit are capacities that can be learned and transferred, both individually and socially.

In CEPES Andalucía we believe that our region and its actors should be capable of reducing or bridging the gap between training and the productive world and, specifically, the world of entrepreneurs to which we belong. The bridging of this gap is the duty of all the social actors and organisations interested in establishing links that maximise the available resources and in providing demand-based training.

CEPES Andalucía works fundamentally along four major lines of training:

  • Masters and Experts’ courses
  • FIDES Programmes (Social Economy Training, Research and Development)
  • Lifelong Training
  • Professional Occupational Training
