The Association of Insertion Companies of Andalusia (EIdA) was set up in July 1998 in Antequera (Malaga), as an entity comprised of multiple structures of companies and entities that work towards social and occupational insertion and employment, as a unique tool against exclusion.
The Association unites the Insertion Companies (that can adopt any legal format and are dedicated to different activities) with their promoter entities, both private (mainly associations of social interest) and public.
This Organisation has been representing the sector in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia since its inception, actively participating in the promotion of a specific set of regulations and promoting the development of the social clauses as a means for enabling the creation of more Insertion Companies, as well as the consolidation and maintenance of those that are already existing.
EIdA was created as a business organisation, whose statutes were deposited at the Andalusian Council of Labour Relations (Official Bulletin of the Local Council of Andalusia No. 96 of 27 August 1998).
