Physical Space

The physical space used by the Foundation of the Andalusian Social Economy School (FEAES) for the execution and development of its own activities as well as the activities of the various Social Economy organisations is the old Church and Convent of La Merced in the municipality of Osuna.

Osuna is situated at the heart of Andalusia, just 1 hour from the cities of Seville and Cordoba, 1.5 hrs from Malaga and 2 hrs from Granada, on the A-92 motorway.

Benefiting from this magnificent geographical location, the Fundación EAES has provided the Social Economy of Andalusia with a restored building that is equipped with all the necessary functionalities to make it a reference place for the activities, meetings, conferences and courses of all this sector’s business organisations.

The Foundation has various rooms that have been adapted and fitted out with all the necessary functionality as well as the latest multimedia technologies.

The Foundation’s residential space is designed for the accommodation and leisure of those who participate in the various activities organised in its facilities; for this, it has twelve double rooms and one room for disabled visitors.

The rooms are distributed around a cloistered courtyard, providing a charming and harmonious setting for the students, professors and visitors who stay there.

The Foundation also has a Restaurant, which accommodates up to 250 people. The catering service offers three types of menus: set menus, full board or half-board. The contents of the menus are planned according to the activity that will take place in the School and therefore it is possible to serve and attend the participants of the School’s various activities in different areas of the premises, such as the Restaurant, the cloisters, the patios and garden spaces. The highest standards of comfort and equipment are always maintained, to suit the present and future needs of the School, its students and teachers.

The areas of the Foundation where meetings are held are the original restored and renovated cloisters, and the gardens, patios and terraces are ideal areas for enjoying breaks and at the end of the working days.
